Highgate Harriers take the welfare of our Young Athletes seriously.

Keep safe on the road

Our middle distance athletes in particular will find themselves training 'on the roads' from time to time. Wearing high visibility clothing is essential.
There are plenty of tops, jackets and tights with reflective features on the market to wear on training nights, we also have a supply of hi-viz jackets in various sizes which can be borrowed from the club room.

Coaches for young athletes may refuse to take out anyone who is not suitably kitted out.

Important notice for Young Athletes (7-11 and 11-16)

Due to the large number of athletes currently on the wait list, the club is unable to accept any more names for the Track & Field sessions.

There are limited spaces available for Middle Distance athletes aged 11-16, but please email the club before attending.

Thursdays - Parliament Hill athletics track (location)
5:15-6:00pm     Ages 7-11 (fun introduction to athletics) *

6:00-7:00pm     Young Athletes (11-16) (track & field) *
6:00-7:00pm     Young Athletes (11-16) (middle distance) *
