Rebecca Johnson started the season well at the same meeting, running 16:08.63 for 5000m, not a long way off her best for the distance of 16:02.8. She was 4th of 14 in her race.
Dominic Ogbechie, Highgate's ''Star' jumper, and still an Under 23 athlete, was 2nd in the EA Challenger meeting at Oordegem in Belgium with a high jump of 2'09. That was on the 27th of May too.
