Rob Wilson an M35 runner, Highgate'scross-country Captain, showed what a force he is to be reckoned with on the road with his 69.10 Paddock Wood half marathon recently and, for five years now he has run sub-15 minutes for 5000m, which is a very good club standard and shows how he can be relied on in the major team events. On Friday 21st of July he ran 14:57.26 for 5000 on the track, in the Finsbury Park 5000m race, in the top graded race that was won by Seyfu Jamal of London Heathside in 14:11.78 Rob Wilson was 7th. Other Highgate Harriers well placed were12 Charles Cooper 15:10.02; 25th Lewis Greaves15:41.2 and 32 Andrew Chau 16:00.4.
