On Sunday September 11th, the same day as the Great North Run in northeast England, London hosted the Big Half Marathon through the streets attracting over 12,000 competitors, with a lot running for Charity. There were 12 Highgate Harriers finishers, and four men inside the good club standard time of 1hr 16 min. Those four men running through the streets of London from Highgate Harriers were Sean Renfer (1hr 10min 10sec), Rob Wilson Highgate's cross country captain (1:11.52), John Gilfedder (1:13.49) and Andres Chau (1:15.11). Representing Highgate Harriers women was Jemima Renfer who completed in the good time of 1hr 26min 20sec.
