Zechariah Cohen, the Plymouth University student who runs for Highgate Harriers, ran 14:57.30 in 5000m at the South West Universities Autumn Varsity Open on 26 October. His previous best was 16:03.6 so he is another one to join Highgate’s fast men.
Molly Renfer, another one of the good running Renfer family and a previous Met League winner, was third female finisher in the Lausanne Half Marathon in 1:20.58 on 23 October. Arjuna Pflug of Highgate Harriers is making a name for himself winning a North West London League Under 13 race. Another one to watch is Joseph Drinkell who ran 22:15 in the Clitheroe Castle Park Run.
