Alex Leprêtre won the Fraternity Cup race very convincingly over grass and mud at Trent Park on 26th November. He was running for his second claim club Barnet AC but was running for Highgate in his previous Metropolitan League race that he won on 18th November. His time at Trent Park, for his fourth annual victory in the event was 24:30. Joseph Young of London Heathside was the second man home in 25:35 out of a field of 212 finishers. Highgate Harriers won the team race with 65 points, second of the 24 club teams was Trent Park 109, and third, Victoria Park & Tower Hamlets with 127. The 1st Highgate Harrier finished fourth and it was Lewis Greaves in 26:49. The other high placings were fifth Jack Steenson (27:05); seventh Kemal Hamed (27:38); 12th Jack Bailey (28:21); 14th Liam Bailey (28:41); 23rd Alex Holley (28:58); and 50th Wiremu Nicole (31:09). That was a good build up for the Metropolitan League at Hillingdon House Farm this coming Saturday.
