The 60m sprints at Lee Valley New Year's Open on 2nd January produced new personal best's for quite a few Highgate Harriers and here they are:-
Arthur Shaw (U15) 8.65; George Sayles 8.29 (He also did a PB 400 in 67.18); Frances Forsyth (V45) 60m 9.23; Barbara Poncia (V55) 10.59; Anthony Poncia (V40) 9.90.
Two other noteworthy performances were by Sam Amdor (U20) 53.97 400m and Zac Segal who ran an 800m in 1:58.27 which placed him 2nd fastest 800m of the day.
