Three Highgate Harriers ran in the European cross-country Trials and Cross-Challenge in Liverpool on Saturday, the 25th of November. All three Highgate Harriers were amongst those near the front of the field; 25th in 29:41 was Alex Lepetre and Roger Poolman was 55th in 30:45, ahead of London Champion at Parliament Hill, Dominic Nolan of Croydon who was 57th in 30:49. A third Highgate runner to do the event was, Seya Taha Ghafri (60:27), he was109th out of the field of 705 that completed the course.
