A Gold Medal went to Under 20 runner, Joseph Hayes, who ran his first significant 400, for a personal best time of 53.40. That was in the Final 'U20' race, in the Middlesex Championships at Lee Valley on Saturday the 11th of May. The event, in glorious sunshine, saw 14 year old, Arthur Shaw never appearing to disappoint winning the Under 15 high jump title with 1,55m and he was 2nd in the 80m hurdles with 13.4. One of Highgate's best Under 20 middle distance runners Alex Mulvihill ran into the silver medal position in the 1500 'U20' Final of the 1500 in 4min18.9. Gabriella Johnson was 2nd in her long jump with 5'17 and was 3rd in the javelin with 23'49.
Arjuna Pflug, won his 3000m under 15 Final in 9: 17:68. Izzy Ions ran the good time of 2:22,74 for 4th in the Under 17's 800.
Under 13 bronze went to Alex Pettican 2:30.83 a Personal Best. Another personal best in the same race Jack Cobbold who came 5th in 2:32.13
