Back on the 18th of May, on the famous Oxford University track, in the 149th Varsity match, Terry Fawden, the Highgate Harrier, running for Cambridge University, not only won the 3000m steeplechase event but did it in a personal best time of 9:00.83 obliterating his previous best of 9:06.95!
London University student, Jonathan Boardman (under 23) who runs for Highgate Harriers and coached by Andrea Spaccatrosi, has been running some good 800 races. At the Watford Open he ran 2:02.56 on12/6 not far short of his PB of 2:01.66, that he did last year.
