At Birmingham in the BMC Grand Prix meeting, on the 6th of July, Joseph Young ran 3:51.5 for 1500, coming 3rd of 8 in Race 'C'. He was in the National 12 stage relay team that came 3rd earlier this year.
In the Middlesex Young Athletes League Highgate went into their final meting of the season, at Parliament Hill, in 5th place with 175 points. Shaftesbury Barnet were leading with 267 points.
