Alex Jackson, also of Highgate Harriers, was 4th of 25 finishers, in his race 7' in a personal best 5000 in the 'Tracksmiths Twilight 5000's races' at Parliament Hill Fields track, on the 28th of August. In the same race race 7' in 13th position was Ben Harries in 15:51.84and in 14th Tomas Rowley in a personal best time of 15:52. 37. Rebecca Johnson one of Highgate's top women runners ran 16:01.07 in the same race, Highgate's next best woman on the night, was Louis Faherty, an experienced over 45 woman in 20:16.50 in race 2. Two who got under the good club standard of 17 minutes were Joshua Maiklem 16:20.66; Jack McVan16:24.82.plus Edward Smith 16:44.86. A runner who did a personal best was Peter Zigic did 16:44.68 in Race 3. The fastest of the evening was London Heathside runner Seyfu Jamaal with 14:28.20 in Race 8.
