Our Late Season Open Meeting was the best attended in recent years with close to 200 competitors spanning an age range of U13 to V75.
Enormous thanks to all who helped make it happen and well done to the many Highgate Athletes who competed along with visitors from around London. We saw plenty of personal bests and seasons bests. Among the many super performances, a few highlights:
There was a father and son shoot-out on the 400m from the Fletcher family. Oscar had to run a PB to pip Felix to the post for the first time ever. Commiserations Felix!
Congratulations to Arjuna Pflug whose 3000m 8:57:69 time was the fastest Harrier on the night in the event and gave him a ranking of 3rd in the UK U15B.
Congratulations also to Sonny Allen, running her first 3000m in a time of 10:00.81, and following this performance up just 4 days later with a dominant win in the Inter-Counties U15G 800m at Horspath, Oxford.
