Highgate were 2nd in the 'delayed' 2024 Championshi8ps, run at Weston Park, Staffordshire, on the 14th of October. The first three teams were Bristol & West 333; 2 Highgate Harriers 355 and 3rd Leeds City AC 494.
The race was won by the 'International Cross country; winner at Parliament Hill, Hugo Milner of Derby AC in 37:28. Highgate's Seyed Taha ran the best cross-country of his life, coming 6th in 38:28;,29th was Alex Lepretree 29th in 40:24. The rest of the scores were 37th- Roger Poolman in 41:05; Rob Wilson 41st ,in 41:18; 60th Charlie Haywood in 42:12; and 74th Pete Chambers in 42:48.
In the girls Under 15 race 4th was Highgate's Sonny Allen in 11.58.A very good effort!.
