In the 6x's one lap of Sutton Park, HIGHGATE HARRIER JACOB ALLEN  was only 3 seconds behind the the outright winners' Leed's lead off man on the first leg.
Leeds City won in 1:44.09  but, that was not surprising as, they had two of the very best road runners in the country  running for them who were both current Olympians in their team and, they were Emile Cairess & Phil Sesermann , so they ended up  well clear of 2nd placers Shaftesbury Barnet. But all in all, with a couple missing, Highgate, did well and, ran the course in Sutton park in 1:47.9 just behind National cross winner's Bristol & West who were 6th.
