As reported in a previous Newsletter, our very own Ben Pochee was given the England Athletics London Region 'Outstanding Contribution to Athletics and Running' award. Ben couldn't be there in person to collect this award so Cal Gordon kindly accepted it on Ben's behalf.
Cal managed to get the award to Cornwall, and I had the honour of handing it over before a 2k community race that Ben has created, as can be seen in the photo.
Ben is also due to receive a similar National award in the coming weeks, both awards are very well deserved.
