Ashley Scott-Wilson of Highgate back on form

On Saturday in the North London cross country Championships, run at Wormwood Scrubs parkland, Ashley was 3rd in the Women's race in 31:03 behind the winner Kathy Casterton of Serpentine in  30:28. 46 competed. 

In the Men's race, won by Barry Kelly of London Heathside in 25:55, 8th of the 48 finishers was Ben Harries in 27:06,13th was Alex Burns 28:12, 26th Alex Page 31:06 and 29th, who had been a  previous top distance man man for Highgate Harriers Chris Beecham, now 55, in 32:0.
