In the London Youth Games cross-country, at Parliament HIl Fields on the 26th of November, in the the Under 15 the race the winner was Arjuna Plug, the young Highgate Harrier running for CAMDEN . His winning time was 9 min, 6 seconds clear of the next runner. Harris Austin was 2nd in the London Youth Games Under 17 race. The promising lad is coached by Hannah Viner and Chris Rainsford. Austin was running for Camden.
In the Senior London Championships Highgate Harriers had 4 runners in the first 60 out of 450 starters. The 4 were 14th Alex Jackson, 40th Sean Hartnett and 60th Sam Burgoyne with Tom Rowley 79th. Under 20 runner Liam Bailey was 80th but Highgate were well outside the medals on their home patch. The winner was Andrew Penney of Hercules Wimbledon in 34.29.
In the womens race out of 217 runners Highgate had two racing 53rd Louise Faherty and 74th Natasha Cendrowicz.
