Alex Davidson was a Middlesex Champion runner in his 50's & 60's (60 in 2023) and ran for Highgate even back as a young man. He was one of the Highgate Harriers who turned up to run the Fraternity Cup race at muddy Trent Park on the 23rd of November. He was placed 53rd out of 254 finishers in 29:55. The other Highgate runners were 33 Olly Newton, 28.54; 105 Adam lennox 32.36, James Rossiter 145 in 35.40 and Richard Stewart who ran round in 36:40. The winner was Gianelo Stubbs of Shaftesbury Barnet in 24:36.
